Hi, my name is Rory and I'm a PhD student at the University of Nottingham, starting this October! I'm starting a Mathematics PhD in applied mathematics, understanding complicated quantum systems. My undergraduate degree was a Master's in Physics with Theoretical Physics, which I obtained a First in from the University of Manchester.
On top of being a PhD student, I'm also a Private Tutor. Over the past year I've started my tutoring business, and really enjoyed seing my tutees grow and learn the subjects I teach them. I've had great success in unlocking students potential in understanding the fundamentals of Mathematics, to excel at GCSE level and beyond! If you'd like to know more about my tutoring, please make your way over to the tutoring section of this website, and see some of the testimonials from previous tutees and their parents.
What else? Well, I'm a keen cyclists and I've recently started getting into climbing. On top of this, I also volunteer at a local animal sanctuary. Overall, I like to keep busy, active, learning more about Maths and Physics, and teaching more about Maths and Physics!
